Champions:

Meek Mill’s Hot New Album… & the Eagles Team Spirit Booster?

By: Kayla Nadot

Meek Mill dropped his first ever solo album on November 30th, titled “Champions”. This album was highly anticipated by fans especially those from the Philadelphia area.

“[The] Eagles have had a bit of a rough season so far this year, and I think this album might help boost the team’s morale! I mean it is named after our previous Championship season after all,” says life long Eagles fan, Alanna Hagerty.

Ever since the Super Bowl this past year, with the Eagles winning the championship, Meek has received a lot of love from Philly fans due to his song “Dreams and Nightmares” being the Eagles theme song for the season.

“Ever since seeing him live in concert when Drake brought him out as a special guest (see picture below) I’ve become a die-hard Meek fan, I’ve fallen in love with every single song especially ‘Going Bad’ feat. Drake,” says Meek and Drake fan, Jocelyn Knight.

It will be interesting to see if this album will have any effect on the Eagles season; for Philadelphia Eagles fans’ sake, hopefully it does.

This star studded album consists of 19 new songs with a variety of artists featured on it including 21 Savage, Cardi B, Ella Mai, Kodak Black, Jay-Z and many more.

After personally listening to all 19 songs on the album, I am thoroughly impressed with the album and my high expectations were met. Personally, my two favorite songs on the album are “Intro” and “Going Bad”, the first and ninth song on the album.

“This is the best rap album of the year, if you haven’t heard it yet, go grab a pair of earbuds and give it a listen!” exclaims big fan, Jordan Gallagher.

Meek Mill has not yet announced a world tour for his new album, but many are anticipating tour dates and are expecting an announcement for this new hit soon.
