“The team is made up of many high level players individually who come together to work as a strong team,” state Captain Morgan Falcone. Many members of the team are committed to a variety of universities of basketball including Drexel, Loyola, and Elizabethtown.

“The game against Ridley was one we felt confident going into, but it’s important we don’t mix up confidence with cockiness and play each game to our best ability which is what I feel we did that night,” explained Madi Mckee, a senior on the team who scored 8 points in the game.

Other high scorers and honorable mentions of the game include Senior, Emily Mcateer, who scored 10 points total during the game, Senior, Brianne Borcky, who totaled 8 points for the game, and lastly Junior, Abby Anderson, who also scored 8 points during the game.

All in all, this was a confidence boosting win for the GV Lady Jags, and they plan on continuing to show off their skills and teamwork throughout the rest of the season.
